She always thought she was somebody... And she was.
A shy cookware clerk (Queen Latifah), believing her days are numbered, throws caution to the wind and embarks on a dream vacation to Europe. While staying at a grand hotel, she and her uninhibited attitude have a profound and humorous effect on the guests and staff.

This movie is a sweet story about a woman who has never taken any risks believing that she is safer to avoid them. She is confronted with the end of her life. She decides to take the plunge by cleaning out her accounts and trying everything that she has always wished about doing.
This opens a whole new peek into the life that could have been. Queen Latifah does a fantastic job and is well suited for the role.Worth the rental - Kimberly
I found this movie to be very uplifting. It was funny and cute, sometimes predictable, but in a not so cheesy way. The queen did very well in this performance. The script was funny and witty and makes you smile and laugh out loud! It is a pick me up kind of movie that makes you feel good, very enjoyable, I recommend it.Nice!! - dee3
Queen Latifah is a very defined, beautiful actress. She has lots of talent and a full of life spirit that warms you with every movie she stars in. Big ups to her on this different style of movie. Don't hate on her becauce she's a successful black woman. Be happy for her or try to put your life on track by doing something positive or doing things other than talk about someone else that has a life, money, and a good career. The Last Holiday is a great family or couple's movie. ENJOY!
