Killshot
Yesterday she was a witness. Today she's a target.
When Carmen Colson (Diane Lane) and her husband Wayne (Thomas Jane) stumble onto an extortion scheme run by experienced mafia hit man Armand Degas (Mickey Rourke) and his temporary partner Richie Nix (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a talkative sociopath, the two killers set out to eliminate them.
Based on the best-selling novel by Elmore Leonard.

Great acting, suspenseful - marcela
Mickey Rourke and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were excellent in this movie. Their acting was beyond believable. The movie was interesting and suspenseful, however, I couldn't understand why they wouldn't stop until they killed the couple. I feel like in reality, they would have moved on, but having the federal agents involved, who knows. The movie ended abruptly, and I was a bit disappointed. But worth watching if you love the main two actors and if you're into something gritty, and that will make you jump off your feet.Believably Good - Picker_of_Movies
I am a big fan of Mickey Rourke and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. They and the rest of the cast gave good performances. If you are a fan of either then this movie will not be a waste of time
The strength and the down fall of this movie is its believability. The relationships seem like they could really play out the way they did in real life. The story and the action are not over the top action movie style.
For me that was its strength. The down fall is the writing. I can't call it poor. But it wasn't fantastic for the style of movie.
What I mean is "Die Hard" is a good action movie whereas, "Midnight Express" is well written but an entirely different style of film. Killshot looks like it was written and directed by people who have Die Hard experience but wanted to make a Midnight Express movie. Killshot is good but all of the elements do not mesh together as well as they could.Good cast, weak directing - Steady
Strong cast but the film suffered from one of the worst scripts of an Elmore Leonard story. Blowing up a few cars with poor special effects didn’t help at all. Rourke and Lane do an admirable job considering what they had to work with. Maybe just weak direction but the movie is not humourous, as expected of a Leonard based script, and is very predictable.
Killer meets up with killer. They go after witnesses to extortion and assault. They catch them and no honour among thieves or killers wins out.
