Goose!

Kenneth Donnelly (James Purefoy), a widower in his late 30s brings his young children Emily (Isabella Fink) and Will (Max Morrow) to Willow Springs to begin a new life.

Will has been mute since his mother’s tragic death six months earlier. The first day of school he won’t talk and gets into a fight with another boy. When his attractive teacher Donna Archer (Kari Matchett) confronts his father about why the boy isn’t talking, she gets cut off and goes to the house to find out what’s going on.

Meanwhile, on his way home, Will meets a goose whom he calls Randall and slowly begins a friendship with the goose, a goose he discovers is a magical goose in that it can talk. Eventually, Will begins talking again, but just as he does, we discover the goose is about to be "cooked" by Ccongreve Maddox (Chevy Chase), the eccentric principal of Will’s school.
