Empires: Kingdom of David - The Saga of the Israelites
Nearly 3000 years ago, a tiny group of tribes in the land of Canaan gave birth to a nation and a religion - a religion that would dare to redefine humanity's relationship with God. Kingdom of David: The Saga of Israelites tells the epic story of the Israelites and the creation of one of the world's first and most profoundly influential monotheistic religion. The stories of the patriarch Abraham, the liberator Moses, and the poet-king David all come to life in the dramatic tale of loss and triumph that has shaped humanity’s basic moral struggle for over three millennia.

The change in the lot of the Jews in ancient times, and how they changed as a people as influenced by one conquering empire and then the next is presented. What a special people the Jews are, so deeply influential throughout history.
I very much enjoyed learning about old testament and other issues, coupling the matters to which the video taught to my own Christian thinking, be it every so immature.
