Warning Sign
"Revealing & Sophisticated." -Los Angeles Times
Deep inside a genetic engineering complex in rural Utah, a mysterious toxin has accidentally been unleashed and a top-secret military containment team arrives to quarantine the facility. But for local sheriff Cal Morse (Sam Waterston of Law & Order), the disaster hits close to home: Among the employees still locked inside is his security guard wife Joanie (Oscar nominee Kathleen Quinlan of Apollo 13). Now the contamination is spreading throughout the building, causing its victims to explode in psychotic rage. What sinister experiments have taken place in Lab P-4? Why is Joanie the only person immune to the infection? And even if Morse can break into the compound to rescue his wife, can they survive the onslaught of the insane?
Jeffrey DeMunn (The Green Mile), Richard Dysart (The Thing) and Yaphet Kotto (Alien) co-star in this superior thriller that The New York Post calls "intense, graphic and pumped full of suspense!"

Warning Sign is really a classic scientific disaster movie- not quite on the level of the Omega Man or the Andromeda Strain, but still quite good for 1985. It's well-made, well-acted and although the story's not anything terribly original or deep, it's entertaining and stands up quite well for its age. It's not an '80s movie' and there's really little about it that dates it- so it's as good now as it was in 1985. I'd recommend it.
