I was worried this was going to be a slow love story. I thought it was a good portrayal of the events that took place in war torn Yugoslavia (Vocalic). It was actually quite sad to see that in these modern times that humans can be thrown back into the dark ages behaving like ruthless animals towards each other. These were not primitive lands without education or money, they were thriving with rich European culture and a long history. Brings up the question if religion is a good thing in the end.
