Awful stand-up - Poet
I was a fan of David Spade in his SNL days. I have loved his performance in certain movies. That being said, he has to be one of the worst stand-up comic ever. Now, I understand why he hasn't done much stand-up.
In this hour long show, I have laughed all of five times, I think. My wife? Not at all. She was constantly asking me how long this dreck was going to last.
Spade's character is made for nasty humour. Here, he was talking about different subjects and none of it seemed to gel. Toward the end, he started talking about music and taking jabs at some artists, and a few laughs came.
But, in the end, it was a lot of wasted time.Don't waste your time - xsmileyfacex
This is not funny, how did it get 2 and a half stars. Boring Boring Boring I certainly have no idea what the audience is laughing at. What some funny Stand Up, get Russell Peter, Bill Engvall, Ron White, Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy or many others, just don't waste your time with this one.
