The Mystery of Charles Dickens
"Dickens was a man possessed with a gloriously theatrical imagination to which Callow’s magnificent performance does full justice." - Daily Mail
Before transferring to Broadway, The Mystery of Charles Dickens played to tremendous acclaim at the Comedy and Albery Theatres in London during 2000, then toured the UK and returned to the West End for another triumphant run in 2002. This remarkable one-man play is a tour de force that brilliantly interweaves Dickens’ turbulent life story with some of his most memorable fictional characters—brought to life by Simon Callow’s breathtaking performance.

How can one man hold your attention for 90 minutes while reading Charles Dickens? To find out, pick up this title from ZIP because Simon Callow not only does, but does so with such electricity that you come away buzzed after his performance.
I'm a huge Dickens fan, but even a novice or one who has never read his writings will enjoy this offering. It's vivid, wild, and full of color...despite the fact that there's only one set on the entire stage. Storytelling at it's best!
