Eddie Israel is a moviemaker. He is beginning the shooting of "The mother of mirrors", starring Francis Burns and Sarah Jennings. "The mother of mirrors" is the story of the last night of a couple falling into decay. Eddie is very demanding with the actors, and the heavy atmosphere of the film acts upon the daily life of the protagonists

From "Smoke" to "Holy Smoke" and all those wonderful bad boys along the way, Harvey Keitel has never ceased to amaze and delight me with his nuanced performances- unfortunately this is not one of them.I'm afraid the fault must be laid with the director- even Madonna is almost unrecognizable in this dark and heavy-handed shambles. I have to admit this is one of perhaps three movies in my entire long life I could not see through to the end- I recommend you do not even try...
