Not Just For Fans Of The Movie - RobB
Hearts of Darkness is a look into the process of making Apocalypse Now and even if you didn't like the film this is fascinating piece of work to watch. From adapting the book, to hiring and having to fire their lead actor (Harvey Keitel) two weeks after film began, to dealing with monsoons destroying their sets, to their lead having a heart attack during filming to Marlon Brando's unbelievable behavior during filming, it gives you an appreciation for the absolute nightmare (much of it self-inflicted) filming this movie was.
