Hollow Man 2
There's More To Terror Than Meets The Eye.
Experience nonstop thrills as Christian Slater (Interview With the Vampire, True Romance) plays Michael Griffin, an invisible assassin turned insane murderer, the result of an experimental invisibility serum which is driving him mad as it brings him a slow, painful death. Maggie Dalton (Laura Regan, Unbreakable), a beautiful, brilliant research biologist, is the only person who can keep him alive - but when the government uses her as bait to trap Griffin, she must turn to Frank Turner (Peter Facinelli, The Scorpion King), a Seattle homicide detective, for protection. As Griffin becomes increasingly deadly and out-of-control, Turner's left with one choice to keep Maggie alive: he must take the invisibility serum and become a Hollow Man himself. Twice the action, twice the thrills and twice the terror - as the two Hollow Men face one another in their spectacular final battle.

OK, just like the others have said, it doesn't compare to the original in the effects department, but was still entertaining and had good action throughout. It shows that they had a reduced budget in that there was very little in the way of special effects and even only showed but a few short minutes of Christian Slater's character, but the two main actors did a very decent job of holding the film together.
I think that you would do good to watch the first installment and then watch this right after as the stories are dirctly related, and you need the first movie to understand what is going on in #2.
Altogether not a bad little flick, there's definitely a lot worse out there, and hopefully there was enough money made off of this so that sequel #3 will have better and more special effects. And yes, there will be a #3, the ending is so obviously setup to segue into the next episode. So be it. I'll probably rent that as well.doesn't compare - Mykull
Movie just doesn't compare to the feel and story line of the original Hollow man.... just didn't hold up. The story line was drawn out.. and was more like a TV movie if you ask me. The effects were still cool... but they had been done already. I just wish they could of maybe brought back some main characters and continued this story line a bit more... Anyway, still cool effects... and if your a fan of the first one.. don't hold your breath to be blown away with this one... straight to DVD movie.. so you know what your going to expect in this movie.A "Hollow" attempt at a sequel - ZZfan
I am a fan of Christian Slater in general and in fact I thought he did an okay job in this movie. However, this was a pretty thin (no pun intended that time) plot. Since this was a direct-to-video release, they admit on the special features that they had to make do with a shoe-string FX budget. Overall, a decent film but no comparison to the original.
