High schooler Bartleby Gaines is on his way to scoring a perfect eight out of eight college rejection letters-which isn't going to go over big with his parents. At least he's not alone-several of his posse of oddball friends are in the same, college-less boat. What's a guy, facing down a lifetime career as a convenience store clerk, going to do? Create his own college, of course.

I hadn't heard much about this movie before I rented it. So I expected your typical teen movie with over the top cheesey pranks and nudity to fill the plot holes! Not this one. It is great. Really funny without being stupid. Justin Long played a great character and I liked pretty much everything about this movie!Good movie - Dfreeman71
I liked this movie. It was better then i thought it would be. It's your typical American Pie type film. Crazy kids, doing teenage things. I gave it 3 stars only because these type of films have been done many times. But its worth the watch. So, if your up for a little bit of mindless comedy, crazy teens etc.... This movie is unique in that it takes a different approach to the typical college coming of age movies. The focus tends to be more towards self discovery and breaking the traditional institutional chains, rather than the typical gross-out humor college movies.
Justin Long does an admirable job of portraying a confident under-achiever on the verge of a break through. He is surrounded by a good supporting cast.
While the premise of the movie is implausible, I was pleasantly surprised at how funny it was. A highly recommended rental.
