An interesting concept makes for an almost interesting movie... - Canbill
I enjoyed this movie even though I was frustrated by some of the sub-plot. I get the feeling the director would have liked to flesh these out more (or at least i hope he did). Other than that point, it made me laugh at all the right moments and made her cry at all the right moments. I was looking forward to this title arriving and wasn't disappointed. This is no comedy! - elle
One Last Thing...this was NO comedy! A heartwrenching mostly serious tear jerker about life and death of a person much too young to leave our world.
The most fascinating concept is the flashbacks to they main character's childhood where he has wonderful memories of his father (played by Ethan Hawke).
Interestingly, Ethan doesn't get credit when they roll the cast at the end.
A good 'chick flick' as long as you're not expecting to laugh out loud.
