The Covenant
In 1692, five families with untold power formed a covenant of silence. One family who lusted for more was banished, leaving their bloodline to disappear without a trace. Until now.
Four young students at an elite private school, who are descendants of the original families who settled in Ipswich Colony in the 1600s, are bound by their sacred ancestry and special powers. When the body of a dead student is discovered after a party, secrets begin to unravel that threaten to break the covenant of silence that has protected their families for hundreds of years.

This is a so so video. My 7 year old thought it was great. I was lacking some important story info but over all it was an all right friday night flick. The acting was fair , no big names and no one ive seen since. I would tell a friend about it but wouldnt pay money to see it againDon't Underestimate This One! - Stepha83
I'll openly admit that I rented this film simply for the eye candy that is Taylor Kitsch and Chace Crawford. I wasn't expecting much, but it actually surprised me. The plot was interesting, albeit somewhat predictable, and for once a movie about witchcraft didn't feature a slew of teenage girls immersed in the goth subculture. The special effects were fabulous, the acting was decent, and overall the movie provided some good entertainment. A nice change from the blood and gore horror flicks that seem to dominate these days.Predictable but still enjoyable - Penn&Denn
As several other people have already pointed out, this movie did not have the deepest of plots or character development. The special effects were pretty good overall, and the supernatural references, whether historically accurate or not, were entertaining at least for this viewer. The good looking young guys added some eye candy. Sort of reminds me of a feature-length version of an episode of Supernatural.
