When Do We Eat?
My Big Fat Jewish Seder
The "world's fastest Seder" has gone horribly awry. One of the Stuckman sons has slipped Dad a dose of special, psychedelic Ecstasy in order "to give him a new perspective." Meanwhile, Mom brings a handsome stranger to dinner and the kids take sides. By the end of the night, however, Dad's visions turn him into a modern day Moses intent on leading this hungry group to the promised land of family forgiveness. Of course they're all so stubborn, it'd be easier to part the Red Sea.

Worse than a real seder - Iwantcolumbia
I thought my Seder's were boring, but having to sit through this one is torture on viewers of any religious denomination. I rented this thinking I could relate to Seder woes and be able to laugh at a dysfunctional jewish family and the antics that follow after the father gets high on E. This movie was more drama and tear shedding than laugh out loud comedy, the only LOL moments were at the beginning of the father's trip. This was a pretty slow going movie. Opens with great promise, but comes crashing down pretty fast, with way too many dysfunctional characters. It could have used more jewish stereotypes like My Big Fat Greek Wedding used greek stereotypes to add to its funny-factor. The whole time I really did wonder "when do they eat? So this movie can end already". Don't waste your time with this one.Passover will never be the same again... - blissful_muse07
My mom really wanted to watch this movie so I joined her. A bit irritating with the constant commotion throughout the movie with all the different characters but some funny parts and a great ending keeping in mind of what having family is all about. Made me want to have some matza and gefilte fish right about now.WHEN WILL IT END? - Ricardo
I gave it one star because it had a happy ending and I like happy endings. As for the rest, well, I'm sorry, I found the movie boring, trying to present a family in a comedic way, but with too many disfunctional characters. Was there anybody semi-normal in that family? If not, why were some of them presented as not normal when in reality there were just average people?
Definitely not a movie I would recommend
