Celebrity Mix
A Collection of Short Films
Laud Weiner: David Hyde Pierce stars as a "producer, agent, all-around-Hollywood-wonder guy" in this short, slick and sharply funny look at life in the biz.
House Hunting: Paul Rudd, Zooey Deschanel, Terry Kinney and Felicity Huffman explore the lower depths of marriage, sex, kleptomania and realtors in this darkly comic adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon’s short story.
Curiosity: A taut and edgy thriller in which Cheyenne Jackson finds a random video taped to the back of a street lamp that hits a little too close to home.
Dysenchanted: In this engaging comic vignette, Jim Belushi plays therapist to the women of fairy tales. Alexis Bledel, Laura Kightlinger and Sarah Wynter are among the storybook characters in distress.
Dependable People: In the tradition of Office Space, comedy veterans Laura Kightlinger and Lewis Black have desk jobs from hell.
Media Whore: Chris Hardwick presents a hilarious retrospective of the inept Muzik Channel VJ Astrid. Starring Taye Diggs, John Doe and Coolio.
Waking Dreams: Tina Holmes is having premonitions that an executive she works with (Ben Shenkman) will die a horrible death in this paranormal thriller.
Mr. Dramatic: In this hysterically funny look at a man who lives life like he’s in a spy movie, Oliver Hudson is the king of drama. To Amy Acker, though, he could be the worst date imaginable.

I liked this - each short was very different from the last - you didn't know what you would get. The first (with David Hyde Pierce) delivered and Dysenchanted was a fun piece. Media Whore had us laughing - could watch it again and Waking Dreams was an interesting Office Story twist.Quirky and fun - Woody2
I love short stories, and this is like your own book . It has some great actors, and the short segments really capture emotions, drama, comedy. More of these films would really fill a void. They cover a variety of scenarios from spooky house, to a stalking and a great director played by David Hyde Pierce.Waste of my time... - Jeefster
I rented to watch the quirky -but cool- Zoey Deschanel and was a tad bit disappointed. She's known for offbeat performance picks, but this one wasn't a very good choice. Not that her acting wasn't up to par, rather it was the subject and story that kinda sucked.
As for the rest of the vignettes, the only cool one was 3 minutes long and the other shlock that was the rest of the movie was nothing short of suck. Most of them looked like they were filmed in the late 80s, early 90s and were just, well, bad.
If you see Lewis Black in the one, he looks about 25 years old... In my books that certainly dates these films to much older than the noted date of 2004.
Rent something else.
