This documentary takes us through the vast history of the man of steel.
My experience with superman began as a child in love with the Chistopher Reeves films. I was both enlightened and distraut to see some of the incarnations he has seen over the years.
But what is neat about this is they speak of him as though he is a real person and not a two-dimentional drawing -- of course they fail to mention that one of the creators is actually from Canada.Look,Up in the Sky! ; The Amazing Story of Superman - startrekker
I strongly recommend this DVD,it is almost totally accurate to the history of superman except for one thing. The DVD says the end of world war two was good for comic books when in truth after the war ended comic book sales were dropping like a stone. It also forgot to mention the revamp that was done in the 50,s on DC,s characters after sales had gone dangerously low. Other than that it is a great thing to see,you will want to see it again and again.
