...really, really awful. I mean any film that has as characters Bi-Polar Bear and Openly Gator (it goes on) and features mock-ups of contemporary TV people like Conan O'Brien in one of its myriad, quick, fatuous, unsequential episodes merits some kind of negative rating. Did I mention that the jokes (so-called) are old, tired, worn, obvious and unfunny? Except for the "obvious", you'll feel the same way after watching the first 10 minutes which was all I could stomach.Duck Off! - TheGreatSwami
I read the reviews, but thought to myself "Anything with so many legitimate actors in it can't be THAT bad!" and I was right...it's much, MUCH worse...
This drags up every bad gay cliche there is, and delivers them with impeccably poor timing and bad taste. There was a chuckle or two to be had, but any movie that's 72 minutes long should deliver much more than that.
The animation was terrible. The characters...reprehensible, and the writing...non-existent. Mind you if you were 16 and just 'came out' you might really enjoy this, but for any self-respecting adult, gay or otherwise - stick to Ab Fab.
I just want to say how sorry I feel for all of the talented people who once had good reputations only to waste their good intentions and their time on this bomb.
Terrible. Just terrible.Try to duck this one - The_Vok
Writer Mike Reiss keeps mentioning this DVD on his commentaries for 'The Simpsons' (for which he was once showrunner), so I finally gave it a chance; but as should be obvious from the cover and anything else you've heard, this is a Web-based cartoon that is far from sufficiently animated (in all senses of the word) to warrant the prestigious-by-comparison DVD format. There are some good gags and some better comedic ideas, but the presentation is so low-quality as to pretty much sabotage them. I'd say only die-hard Mike Reiss fans should watch this, but then, I'm one so I know that isn't even true ....
