Saw 3
Jigsaw has disappeared.
With his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) and Jeff (Angus Macfayden) are unaware that they are about to become the latest pawns on his vicious chessboard.

Very interesting storyline in this one. When I thought the series was going to be straining for ideas I was proved wrong. We learn even more about "the jigsaw killer" and his apprentice. More traps and more gore than the original, but a very interesting twist in the plot at the end.The best of Saw!!! - movie_goer
I Was literally gritting my teeth and screeching at the graphic content. The actual thought of breaking bones and being awake during open brain surgery is terrifying enough.
It was equal parts gruesome, organic and gripping. Finally they got it just right. Although i'd like to have seen more of Eric's character (Donnie Wahlberg) i'm glad they began Saw 3 where they left off.THREE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH - Ricardo
Nothing much changed in the storyline, only the characters and the situations. So what are we supposed to think? That the mastermind was some kind of benevolent judge who was teaching people how to live better?
Fine, he was just a psycho like the woman who helped him, and that was okay in the first movie. The second one was a repeat of the first, but still new enough to make it entertaining. When you see the same thing for the third time, it just makes you hope there isn't a 4th (although judging from the ending, there probably will be).
It's just a matter of how much you want to see the same story again and again with a little bit of varnish to make it look new
