If you're into custom cars, or the sixties, or especially custom cars of the sixties, you'll love this Canadian documentary of iconic California car designer, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. Combining imagination, Fiberglas, and hot rods, "Big Daddy" revolutionized custom car design. This clever documentary tells his story from the cars' point of view. His unique ideas meshed perfectly with the car and surf culture of the sixties and produced some of the most iconic car creations ever seen.
If you remember the name Ed Roth, or his Rat Fink cartoon creation, you will really appreciate this look back at the era. The documentary alone is worth a look. Throw in the extras and you have a real treat. If you're an aging gear-head or just a fan of hot rods and customs, you'll enjoy this disc. And it's Canadian too!
