It wouldn't be Christmas for me without watching 2 or 3 movies each year, and this is one of them! Every time I finish the film, I want to house swap with someone in England. The scenery is gorgeous, the 2 lead actresses are superb and well, add in funny Jack Black and handsome Jude Law and you can't go wrong!! A must see holiday movie!!Adorable and sweet - eojupiter
I loved this movie. It's one of my "comfort" movies to watch when I'm sick or just feeling really unsociable on a Saturday night. It's funny and charming and simple. There's funny moments, happy endings and nice characters, and the mean ones get their comeuppance. This is a total "chick flick", but that somewhat demeaning term aside, why shouldn't one enjoy a movie that amuses and makes one feel warm and happy?
