Rocky Balboa
It ain't over 'til it's over.
After a virtual boxing match declares Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) the victor over current champion Mason "The Line" Dixon (Antonio Tarver), the legendary fighter’s passion and spirit are reignited. But when his desire to fight in small, regional competitions is trumped by promoters calling for a rematch of the cyber-fight, Balboa must weigh the mental and physical risks of a high profile exhibition match against his need to be in the ring.

Perfect way to end the series - ShaiStar
Sylvester Stallone really surprised me with this movie. I was expecting a watered-down or bloated version of the Rocky character (Rocky 4, I'm looking at you), but I was very happy to see that Stallone stayed true to the character. He's a man who let alot slip away in life, and he deeply misses his wife. In all of the movies, Rocky is searching for redemption and this one is no different. You really do end up rooting for him in the end. This movie wipes out the bad taste left by some of the Rocky sequels (#4, I'm still looking at you).A good ending to the series - imagination201
A friend had told me that this movie was particularly interesting on the psychological aspect of the character, and he was right. While the fight is as strong and gripping as ever, the build up to that moment is really well done with lots of hindsight into the psyche of the retired boxer who still has one good fight left in him :) I also enjoyed seeing Milo V. in the role of the son; he was great :)
All in all, a must see as a part of the series! As Good As the First - SciFiGuy
The Rocky series started well but became a little mediocre as time went on.
I rented the DVD on the basis of some good reviews. And wasn't disappointed. It was as good as the first movie. The man's character is the main focus. He's a likable, simple man.
The climactic fight is exciting and looks realistic. Sly is amazing. He's in better shape near 60 than I ever was.
The film's definitely worth a rental or even a purchase. If you liked the first one, you'll love the conclusion to the series.
