Now You Know
Kevin Smith Presents
Clerks and Clerks 2 star Jeff Anderson makes his debut as writer and director in Now You Know, a hilarious and original comedy about not getting married. Jeremy Sisto plays Jeremy, who returns home to New Jersey to recover from his recently canceled engagement and hang with his lawn-mowing slacker buddies Gil (Anderson) and Biscuit (Trevor Fehrman, Clerks 2). As Jeremy tries to figure out what went wrong and how he can win Kerri back, he is pulled into a mess of late night pranks, un-canceled bachelor parties, and too many stiff drinks. Can he pull it together before Kerri finds another man... or woman?

Randal should stick to philosophy. - footnote
There were some very funny bits, particularly Biscuit's theories. But be prepared to sit through some pretty thick melodrama. The ‘serious’ dialogue is forced and quite ridiculous in parts, particularly the female characters. Some of the acting was a bit thin as well; like a small town stage production, it seemed like the actors were just waiting for their cues, not even listening to the other person speaking.
Anyway, worth seeing for the amusing parts. Jeff Anderson(Clerks, Clerks 2) would do well with bolder comedy.
