I wasn't interested in this movie at all but my wife wanted to watch it. I found it very interesting. The images are beautiful and the content covered a lot of things that I didn't know about Australia. This makes me very interested in seeing the other movies in this series.
There are many things about Australia that they didn't discuss. The opera house in Sidney is a world famous landmark but was not even mentioned. I also wanted to know more about what day-to-day life is like. Perhaps they focused on different aspects because the Aussie culture is similar to other English speaking cultures.
It's worth a look if you enjoy these kinds of geographic documentaries.Awful movie. - pinkcess
I could only tolerate to watch this movie for an hour. It was practically a sales pitch movie for Australia.
After a little while, it went in to some personal stories of people which was really lame.
I happen to own the China: Revealed movie and this one was NOTHING like that one - that one was at least educational, this was just a plain waste of time.Alright - hanood
I watched "China revealed" prior to this ones, and I must say this one pales in comparison.
Even though it was narrated by Russel Crowe, I found it hard at times to understand him, I am not sure why. The documentary is generally well put together, but I just find the china better, and it is not bias towards either of the two countries!
