This one reminded me of the movie Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. Not because of the violence or action, but the way that the story has so many subplots that you'd better keep your eyes glued to the screen to get every detail so you can better follow what's going on.
It's well done, has big name actors in it, and will keep you guessing as to what in the hell is going on through the last scene. Of course the whole thing is highly unlikely to ever come about in the way shown and to have so many things come together so perfectly, but it is fun to watch nonetheless.
Was well worth the rental, but like I say, make sure you aren't distracted by anything while watching and you will enjoy it more.Pleasantly surprised - minky
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. We rented it because of Steve Coogan - my husband is British and a huge Alan Partridge fan. It was nice to see him in a new character in this movie. The "last con" was well put together - lots of characters to keep track of, but an interesting mix. I'm not sure the love interest was overly believable.
