Happily N'Ever After
Fairytale endings aren't what they used to be.
Once upon a time in Fairy Tale Land, the age-old balance between good and evil has been thrown out of whack. Frieda (Sigourney Weaver), Cinderella’s (Sarah Michelle Gellar) power-mad stepmother, has formed an unholy alliance of evil to take on the good guys. With her own fairy tale spinning wildly out of control, Cinderella (a.k.a. Ella) is forced to shed her damsel-in-distress trappings in order to seize control of her own destiny and lead the resistance without her Prince Charming.
In a world of happy endings gone wrong, the race for control of the kingdom is on, with the fate of the venerable storyline 'Happily N'Ever After' hanging in the balance.

Now, I can honestly appreciate the hard work that went into making this movie. But my understanding is that this was originally meant to be classic-drawn animated pic. So I guess what original ideas they had were then "rushed" through the animation process, with poor results. The writing is also terrible! I look forward to any movie with Sigourney Weaver involved so thought I should give it a try, but I really wish I skipped it.Sadly Lacking - chnoodle
Happily N'Ever After had a pretty good plot concept and some fun celebrity voices but fell far short of my expectations. I'm not sure if we've just raised the bar on animated films such as any of Pixar's movies but this one didn't seem to live up. Also, I'm not sure who exactly thinks Andy Dick is funny but it sure isn't me.Mind-numbing boredom - Mary613
Having just watched Shrek 2 we were in the mood for a little more cartoon comedy. This was not it... This movie is extremely slow starting and finally about a third of the way through it we couldn't take the mind-numbing boredom anymore and decided to watch sitcom reruns instead.
I doubt this would keep many children interested as it extremly slow-moving (though to be fair, I have no children) and the humour intended for adults, although quite funny on a couple of occasions (which probably led us to watch 30 minutes rather than just 15), does not compensate for the mind-numbing boredom between the one or two puns that were worth writting into the movie.
I'm only giving this one star because 0 isn't available.
