White Noise 2
Enter a terrifying new dimension in communication with the dead: The Near-Death Experience.
What would you do if you could tell who was about to die? Would you try to save innocent lives? After barely escaping a near-death experience, Abe Dale discovers that he has been granted a mysterious ability. But using this dark gift means interfering with the natural order of life and death, a choice that comes with a heavy price. Also starring Katee Sackhoff, White Noise 2 explores an unthinkable and evil dimension in communication with the dead.

I'm always frustrated when a sequel takes the story line somewhere completely different than the original and expects the audience to somehow not notice. The tie-in to the first film is tenuous, at best, leaving little doubt that the writers simply thought they could make a better version of the first. Leave the silly rehash of worn out ideas to George Lucus. This film would actually be stronger as a stand alone storyline as the EVP subplot really adds nothing to the heart of the film.
A likeable film on its own, the audience should approach this film much like "Superman Returns" and forget about the previous film. The ghosts are scary; the acting strong enough; and the FX don't disappoint. Three stars for the film but a frustrated ZERO for attempts at creating a franchise.Scary - Wentai
This film was scary. Nathan Fillion does a magnificent job as usual, moving through an increasingly scary and creepy film and making us feel for him. He's a gifted actor, a decent guy that has supernatural stuff closing in.
The ghosts are well done, the storyline interesting and the actors all very talented.
Result -- a great film, well worth zipping, but be warned it's scary. Still as horror movies go this was one of the very best.Much better than #1 - Scurfy
A lot of people might pass this movie by as they have seen White Noise 1 and found it to be a poor movie.
However once this movie gets going it turns out to be pretty good. The main character has a near death experience and after he is brought back to life discovers he has the uncanny ability to see people who are about to die by the white light surrounding them.
He decides to play God and save as many people as he can.
Unfortunately he discovers that his little hobby has horrific consequences and this is where the movie gets interesting.
If you want to watch a movie in the horror genre I think this movie is a good choice.
