Primeval
Inspired by the true story of the most bloodthirsty crocodile ever.
Inspired by the true story of a legendary 25-foot man-eating crocodile comes the intense, terrifying horror movie Primeval, starring Dominic Purcell and Orlando Jones. An American news crew, determined to capture this voracious monster and stop his demonic rampage, travel deep within the darkest reaches of Africa to hunt their prey. But Gustave, as the natives call him, is also on the hunt — always on the move, always elusive, always hungry for human flesh. Heart-pounding fear is nonstop in this edge-of-your-seat nail-biter about the cunning killer who continues to blaze his blood-soaked trail of terror.

Fake crock - mxg123
The crocodile looked too unreal to be believable. Movies of this genre remind me of the B movies of the 1950s with all the fake monsters, insects, and creatures. A group of American journalists/filmmakers decide to go to Africa/Rwanda to report on a giant crocodile. Many events occur, including geo political warfare, involving the unfortunate American crew. A running crock in the African savannah is not a believable scene, and could have been eliminated. Not as bad as it was made out to be... - bottledgenie
After reading some reviews, I was expecting major cheddar, but I like Dominic Purcell and rented it anyway. What you get from this movie are great special effects, and overall, the story line isn't bad, just incomplete. It's based on fact; civil war in Burundi has led to a huge croc developping a taste for human flesh. They fact that the storyline incorporates the civil war aspect as well as the killer croc is where they went wrong. They should have just focused on the croc, which would have allowed them to be more creative. And then ending doesn't really end...you're left with questions as to what becomes of the characters when they go home...the ones that do, anyway. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. If you just enjoy the graphics, and some pretty intense, though very short, scenes, you'll get more out of this movie than if you expect an Oscar-winning performance. It's a story about a man-eating croc... :)excellent! - Pappy
didn't expect much of this movie but glad I watched it. The story is interesting enough and Orlando Jones is excellent.
The action keeps going non-stop and with a plot that makes it fresh. Seeing a part of Africa that is so beautiful on the big screen yet filled with human violence and misery reminds me how fortunate we are in this part of the world.
