Filmed with the usual assortment of eccentric yokels against a backdrop of misty forests there is nothing here even remotely original. Cardone tries too hard to establish a creepy atmosphere as if full moons and dazed rats are enough to make us cringe in terror; at one point you can practically see the fog machine puffing behind a bush. His generic shopping list of chills and thrills has been done to death in countless other films of this calibre, from an unnecessary stroll into a dark basement to a group of horny teenagers getting it on in the woods. Besides, despite their cannibalistic tendencies and empty eye sockets, it’s hard to be afraid of a pack of pale-faced moppets who look as if they’ve just come from an off-Broadway revival of "Oliver!"Decent horror movie - DarkRiderTommy
I've been a fan of the After Dark series since day one, and this movie does not disappoint. The setting is creepy, and the story doesn't try to lead you around by the nose. No, it doesn't have big-budget CGI effects, but it's proof that you can tell a creepy story using some good plotlines and talented actors.Wickedly Bad Little Movie... - ccblazer
This story has been done to death (pardon the pun), and so much better than this. Oh sure, they used kid ghosts instead of adult. It's still a bad movie. Poor acting, slow moving story, lousy gore effects all don't make for a good horror movie. I have now seen all 8 of the films in this horror fest and there are only 2 that are worth watching. This isn't one of them so unless you are a glutton for punishment stay away. Watch "The Hamilton's" or "Deathride" instead.
