Death Row
An abandoned prison. A dark past. And an evil... that will not die.
Several years ago, a bloody riot of epic proportion ravaged the corridors of the Isla del Roca penitentiary, resulting in the gruesome death of both inmates and guards alike. Now condemned, the prison serves as nothing more than a shattered relic of archaic brutality; a chilling reminder of man’s morbid and murderous nature. Seeking to explore the violent history of the uprising, a naïve crew of filmmakers invades the decaying penitentiary, only to discover that a band of fugitives has taken refuge inside the empty jailhouse. Fearful for their lives, the filmmakers soon discover that the convicts may be the least of their problems – and that the victims of that fatal riot may still haunt the prison walls.
Jake Busey (The Frighteners), Stacy Keach (American History X), and Danny Trejo (From Dusk Till Dawn) star in this terrifying splatterfest from critically acclaimed horror maestro Kevin Van Hook.

WOW, THIS WAS BAD! - Ricardo
I know that there are people who are into the "cult" films and B movies that portray slashers, fake blood, lots of gratuitous screaming, etc. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people.
I found this movie at best a mediocre attempt, and that's being generous. The acting was horrible, the script could have been written overnight, and the dialogue sounded like the actors were reading it off cue cards.
I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE!Not - Ebert
It's obvious to me that Gary never gave Jake any acting lessons. Jake's acting in this movie is way beyond bad the only reason I kept watching this movie is because most of the special effects were very well done. The story itself is a great idea, but having Jake Busey as the lead character was definitely the wrong idea. I have seen other movies that he's been in, and I thought he did a pretty good job. But after watching this it's takes some time and word-of-mouth. Before I ever watch a movie with Jake in it again. When the movie wrapped they should have left him at the jail. I bet Jake would never let his father watch this one.
