Tyrone Power horribly miscast - Kubla_Conde
The Sun Also Rises is one of my favourite books of all time. I know Jake Barnes. I loved Jake Barnes. Tyrone Power is no Jake Barnes. He's too old, for starters, too old by at least 20 years. Imagine the difference of being impotent at 25 when all you think about is getting some and 45, when the mortgage payments are more top of mind. Also puzzling is why they left out the bloody bits of the bull fights. The thing I liked best: Robert Cohn. I get him more, now.
