A New Wave
The Perfect Plan Doesn't Always Lead to the Perfect Crime.
The story for A New Wave centers on Desmond (Andrew Keegan), a mid-twenties frustrated artist who works a day job as a bank teller. Miserable with his job, his eccentric roommate Gideon (John Krasinski) convinces Desmond to rob the bank in which he works. Unfortunately, Gideon concocts the plan based on all the bank-robber films he's ever seen. Ultimately, the story is about friendship, love, and the pursuit of life.

Wave Bye-Bye - Aretha
High school art class drivel meets first year film class submission. Low production values, very simple love story with characters that are not all that attractive, not great comedy lines. I was hoping for fresh, and got boring. Perhaps there are too many film programs around with young people with too much disposable income? Don't bother. An interesting indie film - Largestill
Three friends conspire to rob a bank to finance their dreams and futures; their plan is simple, but hatched from the genius of carefully researched film plots.
Thankfully the charm of the characters, and well-cast actors are what save the film. It's amusing, but not going to be a cult favourite any time soon. It's worth watching if you're a fan of one of the actors, but don't expect something for your personal collection.
