Delta Farce
In this war the wind doesn't blow, it hurls.
Down on his luck after losing his job and his girlfriend on the same day, Larry decides to join his neighbor, Bill (Bill Engvall), and his combat-happy buddy, Everett (DJ Qualls), for a relaxing weekend of drinking and target practice. But when the three hapless guys are mistaken for Army Reservists by the hard-nosed Sergeant Kilgrove (Keith David), they’re loaded onto an army plane headed for Fallujah, Iraq—and mistakenly ejected in a Humvee somewhere over Mexico.
Convinced they’re actually in the Middle East, the clueless wannabe soldiers save a rural village from a siege of bandits and become local heroes. But when Carlos Santana (Danny Trejo), a ruthless, karaoke-loving warlord, strikes back, Larry, Bill and Everett have to lay down their beers and take up their arms—and prove they just might be real soldiers after all...

While not shocking in that it was terrible it really did bring terribleness to a whole new level.
Granted this is not a AAA cast, there are some names in here like Keith David & Luis Chavez that had mistakenly given me the impression that this movie might have surprised me. It certainly isn’t that I can’t appreciate ridiculous humor, I certainly liked Hot Shots! the first time I watched it.
In Summary, this movie is:
Not Funny
Not Exciting
Not Interesting
Not visually appealing
Not worth watching.
Seriously, don’t watch this. You’re welcome for the advanced warning. Glad I could save someone 30 minutes. Yes I know the movie is 90 but let us be realistic, you wouldn’t have made it past 30 minutes. I forced myself to finish it just so I could write this glowing review with full knowledge that I gave it every chance possible to unsuck itself.Delta Farce - RickFav52
I love comedies....but good ones just seem to more and more difficult to find. I did not get one single laugh out of this movie. It must have been an embarrassing moment when the participants saw the completed version for the first time. Take the money and run. Despite trying I could not make it past 40 minutes with this one. Larry the Cable Guy needs to keep both feet on the stage. Depressingly bad movie.Boo. - Luca08
If this movie redeemed itself further into the storyline, I sadly didn't see it, as I had had quite enough by about 45 minutes in. Even my husband, a huge Larry the Cable Guy fan, found it too stupid to watch.
Don't waste your time - stick to Blue Collar TV on Comedy Central.
