Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) ally with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from his mind-bending trap in Davy Jones' locker -- while the terrifying ghost ship, The Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones, under the control of the East India Trading Company, wreaks havoc across the Seven Seas.
Navigating through treachery, betrayal and wild waters, they must forge their way to exotic Singapore and confront the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). Now headed beyond the very ends of the earth, each must ultimately choose a side in a final, titanic battle - as not only their lives and fortunes, but the entire future of the freedom-loving Pirate way, hangs in the balance.

Were they trying to infuse some Mission Impossible style intrigue? If they did fail they did too. Things going well at the first half of movie, but gets downhill quite soon.
But I suppose the movie is NOT that trashy, least I would say it is worthy as a Zip.ca rental.Odd and Inconsistent - stevengl
I should preface this by saying I was a fan of the first two movies. But this particular movie seemed out of sync with the universe created in the previous movies. World's End was disjointed, at times, downright incoherent, and really just an odd movie.
Black Pearl had a deep rich story, Dead Man's Chest was visually stunning, World's End was outright confusing. I will try to avoid inserting any spoilers, but the inconsistencies in this movie were pretty profound. Why would a “Brethren of Pirates” never be mentioned previously, or the idea that there is one goddess of the sea that was embittered by her imprisonment by man.
Apparently only certain people can be raised from the dead, like Barbossa, but any other request to raise someone from the dead cannot be filled. Not to mention the scenes where Jack is dealing with his insanity, they came off as just ludicrous.
There were just too many oddities and inconsistencies in this movie for me to be able to enjoy it.Never shall they die - hilkayaker
Orlando Bloom makes a HOT pirate at the end of the movie!!! I really liked this movie. I was so disapointed with the second movie, but this one was WAY better!! I wasn't a big fan of the multiple Jack Sparow scenes, I thought they dragged on to long and were to wierd for me. But it didn't ruin the movie for me and I still loved it. Especially the maelstrom. If you like the pirate movies go for it!!
