Dana Andrews tormented - Crumit
If you like camp, or Dana Andrews, or both, this is a movie not to be missed. Dana Andrews plays the patriarch of a family straight out of Squaresville who is tormented by youthful biker thugs while driving through the desert. Dana Andrews' character has a back problem, so there are many shots of him clutching at his sacroiliac and ranting about those damn kids. It's good to see him back with Jeanne Crain--it's like watching the couple from State Fair in late middle age, dealing with the Sixties. And back problems.Avoid. - idigfiremen
If you like the Beaver Cleaver goody-goody 50's, then this flick is for you. It was hard to watch, as the family is so squeaky-clean and proper, and the Hot Rod kids are utterly forgettable as they try to find something to do to stave off boredom in the middle of nowhere. Dont bother with this.
