HBO usually makes quality productions, think of Entourage and Sex and the city, but it misses the the point entirely here. It tells the story of the first bombing of the World trade center in 1993, the conspiracy beforehand. I did not find it riveting at all, even if it is a precursor to the terrible bombing of September 2001. It is made up of terrific actors but was not very good.Riveting at times, a spine-tingling finale - eoguy
This film about the 1993 World Trade Center bombing was made in 1997, and screened on HBO on a fairly regular basis until 9/11/2001, when it was pretty much yanked out of existence. The reason for that is what happens in the last 60 seconds of the movie. I won't spoil it for you, but it will absolutely send chills down your spine, and put a lie to anyone who said that what happened on 9/11 was not foreseeable. You will probably want to believe that they re-shot the ending sometime in the past few years. But they didn't.
Even though it is a dramatization of what happened, it gives an insight into the mistakes made in dealing with the group who committed the act, and how if not for one of the terrorists going to try and get a deposit back on the truck used, the agencies may not have caught them.
