Seth Rogan is very funny guy to watch and he does really well on his comedy movie. It was fun and interesting. We had fun watching the movie from beginning to the end and we didn't get really die down with fun at all. Well-made, genuinely funny comedy about a mismatched couple expecting a baby. Knocked up is extremely funny, well written with strong comic performances from it's leads, Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen.
Knocked Up is full of laughs and witty pop culture banter but also offers insightful and honest explorations of marriage, relationships, friendship and parenthood.Realism made /funny - cinecynic
I'm not in the age demographic that this movie is aimed at--clubbing still with friends or raising kids--but I found it funny. The slacker goof's life intersects with a career girl, and what do we get? Turns out the slacker is not such a "loser" and the career girl isn't so independent and confident afterall.
The characterizations are realistic. Sure, the women are complaining more than the goofy guys, but that's realism pushed to an extreme for the sake of humour.
Crazy humour is what I expected, and that's what I got. The shrooms scenes in Vegas at the hotel were an added hilarious bonus.
