No Reservations
Life isn't always made to order.
Master chef Kate Armstrong (Catherine Zeta-Jones) lives her life like she runs her kitchen at a trendy Manhattan eatery - with a no-nonsense intensity that both captivates and intimidates everyone around her. Kate’s perfectionist nature is put to the test when she "inherits" her nine-year-old niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin), while contending with a brash new sous-chef who joins her staff. High-spirited and freewheeling, Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart) couldn’t be more different from Kate, yet the chemistry between them is undeniable. Rivalry becomes romance, but Kate will have to learn to express herself beyond the realm of her kitchen if she wants to connect with Zoe and find true happiness with Nick.

The story was great and fun. It's always fun to see about restaurant business movie with lots of delicious food showing in the movie. The story was great with lots of events and romantic comedy kind of side. It didn't have any slow part that I've expected and that was all fun.A chick flick for everyone - shantiom
I really enjoyed this film. It had a good balance between cheesy, sad, cheerful and humorous moments. Oh and a little cliche. The contrasting principle characters and how they all tied together. It really was a wonderful feel good film. With a drooling theme of food. The only thing that left me wondering is why they chose the title that they did for this movie. It's not a very creative nor clear title.Nice Story. - 1writer
Catherine Zeta-Jones (Kate) and Aaron Eckhart (Nick) have a good chemistry in this film with enough in common and just enough of the opposites attract element to make the romance believable. The relationship between Kate and Abagail Breslin's character (Zoe) as Aunt and niece starts out with many challenges and gradually gets much better. The film does a nice job of showing Kate merge her career and new role as mother-figure, without needing to give up her job (as many other movies suggest).
Worth a rental!
