There was lots of information on how the rovers were made, and lots of computer generated graphics about how they landed and moved on Mars, but I was expecting to see some actual footage of mars, and there was almost non-existent. A big disappointment. I figured being IMAX blue-ray, there would be cool shots of the actual planet from the rovers, no such luck. Too short, no good footage. Not worth renting.Decent - Cine_Fan
I liked this documentary, but I'm a space nut. Yes, it's short, and there is more photography on the NASA/JPL website, but it was well done, and the IMAX video was gorgeous on Blu-ray. I was surprised how much I also liked the 1957 episode of Walt Disney's Disneyland that was included in the features. The artwork, the narration and the goofy speculation about other life in the solar system were great, vintage Disney.A little to much CGI and only 40 minutes long - gjcover123
I was expecting a lot more bang for my buck with this movie. Most of the space footage is CGI and very little of it is from the actual rovers that landed on Mars. Also it was only 40 minutes long another reason why things seemed to be rushed.
It wasn't a bad feature, but with IMAX attached to the front of the title I was expecting more and was therefore disappointed when Walt Disney didn't deliver.
