Balls of Fury
A huge comedy with tiny balls.
In this secret society, the competition is brutal and the stakes are high. It is the unsanctioned, underground, and utterly unhinged world of clandestine Ping Pong tournaments. Down and out former professional Ping Pong phenom Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) is sucked into this maelstrom when FBI Agent Rodriguez (George Lopez) recruits him for a secret mission. Randy is determined to bounce back and win, and to smoke out his father's killer - arch-fiend Feng (Christopher Walken).

Ridiculous, but fun. - moviegenius
This was a ridiculous film. Yet, it was very funny. I think that this is not a very well made movie. In fact, if you took out the comedy and made a movie, it would definitely win a Razzie. So, just watch Balls Of Fury and ignore the fact that it's stupid.Laughed but not for what I was expecting - XsilverboltX
The movie itself is ridiculous, but the way the lines are delivered is hilarious. Several scenes marked me, using classic gags, but with such a tight and unexpected delivery that I couldn't help but laugh.
Sure, it doesn't fly high, but it is worth a few laughs. Just make sure you watch it when you've only had a few hours of sleep the night before.
If anything, there's hawt girlzz all around! ;)So-so - daveandginny
Love ping pong? Can't miss a movie with Christopher Walken as a villain? Have a low standard for what makes a good movie? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should check out Balls of Fury.
This movie features a lot of slapstick, some chopstick (up noses and in noodles), and a lot of ping pong. The story is completely ridiculous, and that is part of its appeal, and the humour is a lot cleaner than movies like Happy Gilmore, but there are some awkward moments that really don't add to the movie. I've never understood why some movies include a guy yelling "Yeah! YEAH!" for about a minute to a completely silent audience, and I don't think I ever will. The movie does have some surprisingly funny moments that made me laugh out loud, to the detriment of Ginny, who had fallen asleep roughly 15 minutes into the flick.
Balls of Fury is a bit of a weird movie that is a new take on the (nonexistent) ping pong genre, and Christopher Walken definitely puts in a good show, and is complemented by James Hong, who is always top notch. This movie is worth seeing if you're looking for a slapstick and are not too picky about seeing mediocre movies. If you're looking for an Oscar-winner, stay away.
