Right at Your Door
Terror Just Hit Home
After multiple dirty bombs are detonated, spreading deadly toxic ash across Los Angeles, Brad (Rory Cochrane) inadvertently quarantines his wife, Lexi (Mary McCormack), outside their new home by safely sealing himself inside. With the city under siege and Martial Law in effect, Brad and Lexi struggle to survive with little supply, limited time and no information - all the while separated by thin doors and thinner sheets of plastic. When "help" finally does arrive, it appears to be anything but.

A good low budget thriller - ArcAngelMD
Right At Your Door is a good terrorism thriller that does a good job at feeding into America's recent dirty bomb fear mongering. Unlike a lot of similar low budget films that try to do big explosions and set design despite the lack of money, this film is not a victim of its budget due to its unique approach to the topic manner.
Essentially we are seeing the story of a single man who is all alone when the bombing occurs. We see the fear and terror that he experiences, the desire to find his spouse but save himself and all the struggles that occur in-between. We see peripheral characters here or there in the story, but for the most part they are supporting the main characters experience.
Well acted by a series of TV veterans, this film is worth picking up. It is in the same vein as The Trigger Effect, but does a good job of differentiating itself from other material that is out there. Zip it.
It is a low budget film, but nothing is really lost as a result. Had we seen more of what had occurred in the epicenter a lot of the suspense would have been lost.Disappointing. - KeithTalent
Low budget movie about dirty bombs being exploded in downtown LA and a man struggling with decisions as his wife is stranded, as far as he knows, in the epicenter. This had the potential to be interesting, but it falls flat fast and never builds the atmosphere necessary in order for this type of story to work.
