Dive into Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures! Join Peabody and Emmy® Award-winning Jean-Michel Cousteau and his acclaimed diving teams as they explore a thrilling array of natural phenomena, investigate little known territories and ecosystems hundreds of feet beneath the ocean's surface, and come face to face with the friendly and ferocious inhabitants of the deep. Through Jean-Michel's observations, the series illuminates the great need for better understanding and sustainable management of the oceans' rich natural treasures. Relive the excitement of each expedition to the far corners of the globe in this adventure.
In Voyage To Kure, Jean-Michel and his crew travel across the Pacific to reach Kure. As one of the most remote places on Earth, Kure is part of the Hawaiian Islands, 1200 miles from Kauai and the last remnant of wild coral in the Pacific. The islands team with life, as, off-shore, young albatross try their wings while Tiger Sharks, the most efficient killers in the world, lie in wait. Just beyond the shore, the crew explores 200 square miles of reel and its incredible biodiversity.

Third Generation Cousteaus - Yukon
Just gorgeous. Everyone on the planet should see this. The second and third generation of Jacques Cousteau's family guide us on a tour of underwater marine parks, protected areas and refuges - from the Atlantic to the Great Lakes to the Pacific. Coral reefs, wrecks, coastal colonies of elephant seals and humpback whales in the open ocean are beautifully filmed by their intrepid teams of divers. The scientists and conservationists that work and do research in each area are interviewed and speak about the work they do, the hazards that the environment and the wildlife face, and what populations are recovering and which are declining. See a marine vet remove tumours from giant turtles, see how sea lions are sequestered and tagged (but they only tag the more adventurous individuals who voluntarily walk into the holding cage!)and see the mystical and elusive coral spawning.
