Insult to Mystery Fans - c4th
Despite strong character portrayals by Alicia Witt and Scott Bacula, this teleplay about an accomplished investigator trying to identify the arsonist responsible for the deaths of two of her fiancés is an insult to mystery fans and should be an embarrassment to its creators.
Virtually nothing seen in this movie can be considered a clue. Everything is intended to mislead the viewer and writers go to unfair lengths to do so. In place of legitimate red herrings the creators offer up total misrepresentation of facts and characters. Also, once the past encounters between the arsonist and heroine are fully revealed, it seems evident the perpetrator should have been a prime, if not the most obvious, suspect from the very beginning.great movie - Simmy
This is a great movie to see if you are a Nora Roberts fan. The way the did this movie is very similar to the book. You can never get the movie to be exactly like the book however this one came close. I highly recommend to watch this movie if you are a Nora Roberts fan.
