Bit of an Odd Film - MovieLover5
Kind of disappointing as it seems like the director was trying to capitalize on the success of Butch Cassidy etc. of 3 years earlier (e.g. Butch had the bicycle scene, this one has a baseball game). Oddly slow moving at times, interspersed on a couple of occasions with some gun fights. And from what I understand, not too accurate historically. I give it 3 stars only for Cliff Robertson and for seeing Robert Duvall when he actually had hair (well, to some degree he did). The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid - Karny
I wanted to like this film but I did not. Good cinematography, some good acting, some was not. Bad writing and inconsistent. Sometime this looked like one of those Disney preteen adventures films. The subtitles were often missing too. That is bad for those of us who use them. A time waster.
