The Sarah Silverman Program: Season 1
Sarah Silverman says what's on her mind. And no one else's. In this first season of the critically acclaimed The Sarah Silverman Program, Sarah gets hepped up on cough syrup, takes in a homeless man and poops her pants. With her unique perspective on life and her ability to turn just about everything into a song, find out why Sarah Silverman is an American treasure. An offensive, filthy-mouthed treasure.

Vulgar, wonderfully vulgar. - Blob
In my early 30's one person I knew kept asking me what it was like being 12. So of course I am a fan of this infantile silly filth.
That really says it all, either you like offensive adolescent humour, or you don't. If you do, this is the disk for you, if not, don't watch.
I do find blue humour doesn't tend to age well though, repeated viewings don't carry the same charm, nor does the next season. Once the shock value is over, it is a painful hit to the series.Super super super funny. Perhaps even funnier. - Wentai
1) This girl does not buckle under to today's political correctness. She makes fun of any subject -- not in a mean way, but in a funny way, looking at almost any subject with a light touch.
2) Her jokes are non-stop
3) She does not stop her show to pander to the audience like most comedians do. Sara's show moves fast.
4) Pleasing characters, a gentle humor and some wonderful sly glances as she pops off one verbal zinger after another.
Highly recommended. The funniest show on television! - Angelina1
Sarah Silverman is not what she appears. Her apparently silly and insensitive comedy addresses a lot of social and political issues in a backwards and sarcastic kind of way.
Sarah's loud & obtuse character + her sister's nerdy cop boyfriend + her gay pothead buddies makes for a bunch of really funny episodes.
While it is a quasi-serious show, and is seriously funny, it's still ridiculous. If poop jokes don't do it for you, don't bother -- it's chock full of them!
