I cried like a baby the whole time. I lived in Renton and the atmosphere was so dark and gloomy and this movie really captured that...
I could undertsnad what each charachter was feeling and I felt the cast truly did an amazing job of the stages of grief.
I sobbed and I sobbed and I sobbed. It was on of the only times where I was happy HE worked late ;-)Gripping... - JimmyD
Halle Berry will surprise you, and Benicio Del Toro was amazing in this hard-to-watch but hard-to-look-away-from movie. The two kids in the movie can really act too. The addiction looks realistic and sad, just as it should. No sugar-coating of the loss and loneliness either. Worth renting.things we lost in the fire - hellsworth
wow, this flic really tugged at my heart strings i couldn't believe how i had to really fight from my eyes welling up numerous times. really enjoyed, writer/director really hit it out of the park with the reality of how life can turn on a dime. BD once again amazes me how well of actor he is, HB is always easy on the eyes - beautiful girl, DD is also great - have always enjoyed whatever it may be he is in.
Hail! Hail!
