The Perfect Holiday
This Christmas, the perfect man just happens to be Santa.
The Perfect Holiday is the heart-warming holiday story of Nancy (played by Gabrielle Union, Daddy's Little Girl & Bring it On), a loving single mother of three who falls for Benjamin (Morris Chestnut, Best Man & Like Mike), a talented but struggling songwriter who is working part-time as a mall Santa. Conflicts arise when her oldest son, 10 year old John-John, convinces his younger brother and sister to join him in mischievous plots and schemes against their mother’s new boyfriend in the hopes that she will reunite with his hero - their rap-mogul father J-Jizzy (Charlie Murphy). The film is narrated by Queen Latifah in a magical role of "Mother Christmas" opposite Terrence Howard, who plays a hard-to-dislike Scrooge-ish character named "Bah-Humbug."

From my experience a mostly black cast in a comedy is a good thing...usually. However that wasn't the case with The Perfect Holiday.
This is just another case of plot recycling and ultimately a waste of talent, time and money.
I've seen this tired story many times before.this movie was OK ... - TheWorldOfTeE
... definately not a buy, but the storyline was interesting, in a happy, no guns, no violence kind of way ... what was up with Terrence Howard, I had to laugh at him in this movie ... and Queen Latifah all i can say is 'really' ... i love me some Morris Chestnut but the black hat GOTTA GO ... it is a nice movie ...The Perfect Holiday - Rocking_R
I enjoyed this movie. It was a nice change from the violent and rough language movies that have become the norm of today. A love story involving a single mom with three children and one in particular that believes in Santa and wants her mom to be happy. A movie the whole family can watch.
