Although Rob Lowe is as good-looking as ever, his acting is not remarkable at all in this movie. Plus, the script is totally predictable and exceptionally boring. In the movie, his daugher is kinda' cute and his wife is a believable character,I can't imagine that the movie would hold appeal for any particular age group. So often movies about writers give the viewer a look into the creative process or a glance into the writer's work - but nothing about this was eye opening at all. more like a poor substitute in a generic blue/pink/yellow little pouch. The movie was going okay until the predictability factor got out of hand and you could foretell 10 scenes ahead what would happen. The whole way the ending develops and the big explanation is way over the top. I'm sure kids may like it, but the movie is definitely not for adults.
Even as a TV movie, this is what they would show on TV at 3 a.m. when nobody is watching
