I wanted to like this more - feliper
There's a really interesting story here about poverty and racism and redemption but it just doesn't seem to come together. The performances are a bit too restrained given the story and the writing falters in places. The title implies something that the movie doesn't deliver, an explanation of the role of boxing as an escape from poverty.good story - poulters
