Slacker actress Jane F, is having a bad day that is getting more outrageous by the minute. Jane’s misadventures begin when she treats herself to a batch of cupcakes left unattended by her psycho roommate (Danny Masterson) that prove not as innocent as they appear. She then bums a ride from her roommate’s friend (John Krasinski)and attempts to cross town so she can repay an unforgiving drug dealer, attend an audition, and somehow replace the precious cupcakes. Enjoy the wild journey as Jane’s efforts to get through her day prove an arduous task of epic proportions.

I rented this on the basis of Gregg Araki. This is the most disappointed I have been over something he has done. The acting is, well, mugging more than anything, an uneven portrayal of a severe special needs case. The story line is so sophomoric and derivative that I kept sucking in breath and rolling my eyes in exasperation.Pretty dumb - egyptnation
No doubt about it, this is a poorly made and dumb movie. I wanted to give it 1.5 stars but the system doesn't allow for half-points. The only decent thing about this movie is Anna Faris's performance; she does play the stoner pretty well. Unfortunately everything else about this movie is completely amateurish: the story, the composition, the lighting! This is an unbelievably horribly lit movie. If you and a bunch of friends are drunk or stoned one night, this movie will do. Otherwise, avoid!I guess you need to be baked - Blob
It seems that this movie would be much better if you were baked out of your mind. I have to say, Faris is cute as a stoner chick, she comes across as retarded though. I've know some potheads, but they didn't come across that stunned, in a mouth open almost drooling kinda way.
Her adventures were only barely interesting, few laughs.
